Netaji Subash Chandra Bose’s 127th birth anniversary celebration was held at Anna University’s Vivekananda Auditorium.
R.N Ravi Governor of Tamil Nadu was the chief guest of the event. Other guests included INA veterans, freedom fighters and heirs of freedom fighters.
The event began with a patriotic song performed by the students of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and then the honorable governor paid a floral tribute to the portrait of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose.
The Governor honored the independence warriors with shawls and keepsakes after giving a thorough and inspirational speech about Netaji Subash Chandra Bose.
The National Anthem was sung to mark the conclusion of the event.
