The Leo Academy of Excellence Senior Secondary School, has conducted the first Dr.G.Velmurugan Memorial Football Tournament on Jan.12 and Jan.13 in the school premises. Around 21 schools have participated exuberantly.
The chief guest Kamala Velmurugan, has tossed the coin and the school Secretary V. Kishorenath has kicked off the ball to boot the match.
SBOA Hr. Sec. School, Annanagar has won the championship and was honoured with a champion trophy and a cash prize of Rs.5000/-. The Leo Academy of Excellence Senior Secondary School got the Runner-up and was awarded with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs.4000/-.
The Second Runner up position was bagged by MCC Public School and was honoured with a cash prize of Rs.3000/-. The winners and runners were also awarded with medals and certificates.
