Hanuman Jayanti is the birthday of Sri Anjaneya known as Vayuputra, the son of Anjana. Celibate Sri Anjaneyar was born in the month of Margazhi on the day that Amavasai Tithi and Mula Nakshatra coincided. 
Hanuman Jayanti is observed this year on January 10, 2024. Worshipping Sri Anjaneya bestows upon us several blessings, like wisdom, courage, fearlessness, health, zeal, and eloquence. The sacred method of worshiping Sri Anjaneya is to offer garlands of Tulsi, Vada, and Betel. The devotees will continue to receive blessings from Shri Anjaneya by reciting the Hanuman Chalisa. The most auspicious prayer we may offer to Lord Anjaneya is to write Sri Ramajayam and it is very significant that Sri Anjaneya, a devotee of Rama, would run to those who chant the name of Rama and bestow grace upon them.
