Christmas – a time to share love, joy, peace and goodwill reflecting the love of the Lord Jesus Christ who came as Saviour of all mankind. In keeping with this true spirit of Christmas, Alpha Arts and Science College, Porur, under the aegis of Alpha Group of Institutions organised Christmas celebrations on Dec.21 at Alpha School, Saidapet.
Rev. Zachariah Alexander, Vicar, St. Paul’s Mar Thoma Church, Adyar, Rev. Vinoy Daniel, Vicar, Madras Mar Thoma Syrian Church, Chetpet, Chairperson, Alpha Group of Institutions, Dr. Grace George and Vice Chairperson, Alpha Group of Institutions, Suja George graced the occasion. Heads of member Institutions including Dr. A. Sivasankar, Principal, AASC were the other dignitaries present in the event. All the staff of the member institutions Alpha Arts and Science College, Alpha College of Engineering, Alpha International School, Sembakkam, Alpha CBSESchool, Sembakkam, Alpha CBSE School, Saidapet, Alpha Matriculation School, Saidapet,Alpha CBSE School, Porur and the Alpha Admin Team AGI were present on this occasion. They performed a plethora of events ranging from carols in English, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam, Choreographed dances, short skits and mime. The Christmas Celebrations came to and with a Prayer and Benediction by Rev. Zachariah Alexander. This was followed by a Christmas gift from the management to all staff of AGI. It was a day to cherish sprinkled with moments of love, warmth and good will among all staff of AGI.
