SV High Global School, Arumbakkam, observed The Thanks-Giving Day with great enthusiasm recently. Gratitude is the core value. The students of Std.1-5 expressed their gratitude towards the support staff i.e. the akkas, watchman, bus drivers, and gardener, individually thanking them for the care and comfort provided by them during their school hours.
The students of Std. 6-8 extended their gratitude to the traffic person manning the area, the garbage collector who cleans the vicinity and the police personnel who are on vigilance. They met all these community helpers and expressed personally how they were thankful to them as they provided a clean and safe environment for them. They also made a video thanking specific people in their lives.
The KinderGarten students showed us that the seeds of all our learnings are sowed at a very young age. They visited the police station and thanked the police personnel for providing security and also met the corporation workers and thanked them for the healthy surroundings provided by them.
Let us all practice the art of thankfulness.
