World Wide Fund for nature (WWF India) conducted periodical activities to students from Std.6 to Std.9 virtually last year in Chennai district by involving interested students from Govt., Corporation, Govt. aided and private schools.

The activities like drawing, new concepts, designing posters, innovative projects using locally available and reusable materials by students were evaluated by experts. 

As a district coordinator of National Green Corps (NGC) movement, G.Thangaraj coordinated more number of schools in Chennai and accordingly he was honoured by Nanthakumar IAS, Commissioner, School Education.

Rajasekaran,Asst director (Environment) and Saravanan, Coordinator WWF (Environment education) were also present in the event.
