Lions Clubs International District 324N celebrated Diwali at Balaji Mini Hall, Ashok Nagar.
Dr. R. Sivakumar IPS, Superintendent of Police, Idol wing, Chennai, was the chief guest and distributed sweets and crackers to 50  School students, rice and groceries for one month requirement  to 10 sanitary workers of Greater Chennai corporation and Educational assistance of Rs.15000 provided to a needy student in the event. 
Lions Former Dist. Governor Kalaimaamani Dr. G. Manilal, Dist. Chairperson of Diwali Eve. Dr. S. Sakthivel, Dist. Chairperson of Differently abled welfare Dr. K. Gopinath,  First Vice Dist. Governor K. R. Jayakumar, Second Vice Dist. Governor M. Pravinlal, Cabinet Secretary M. Udayakumar, Cabinet Treasurer T. Sivakumar, Joint Cabinet Treasurer P. M. Balasubramaniam and other lion dignitaries participated and graced the occasion.
