The students of SV High Global School, Arumbakkam, Nikhil from Std.8 and Ayushman from Std.6, demonstrated their skills on solving the Rubik’s Cube and solved it in 56 seconds at the school assembly on Oct. 30.
Erno Rubik invented the Rubik’s Cube, a popular toy of the 1980s. A Rubik’s Cube consists of 26 small cubes that rotate on a central axis, nine coloured cube faces, in three rows of three each, form each side of the cube. When the cube is twisted out of its original arrangement, the player must return it to the original configuration, which has one among 43 quintillion possible options.
