In connection with World Sight Day on Oct.12, Equitas Development Initiatives Trust (Anna Salai) conducted Eye Screening Camp alongwith Indian Vision Institute at Kannagi Nagar, special camp for Transgenders. T.G. Karuna (Councillor Ward 72) was the chief guest.
16 Transgenders got free spectacles in this camp. M. Krishnamurthy (CSR Manager, Equitas) coordinated the camp.
