On occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, R. N. Ravi (Governor of Tamil Nadu) and his wife welcomed and entertained the freedom fighters and their families on Oct. 2 in Raj Bhavan. Governor honored the freedom fighters by donning shawls and presenting mementos.
This was followed by a cultural program and a high tea party.
