Salute to the Real Heroes

Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated annually across the country on July 26th to pay tribute to our Indian Soldiers who made the sacrifice for the country during the Kargil War in 1999.
The Kargil War was fought between India and Pakistan at the Line of Control in the Kargil district of Jammu and Kashmir. Indian Army recaptured the famous Tiger Hill and other important posts around Operation Vijay by evicting the Pakistani troops.
After the struggle of more than 60 days of Indian Soldiers, Kargil War was concluded on July 26, 1999 and this day is commemorated as Kargil Vijay Diwas.
