Awareness campaign on segregation of waste

CSI Christ Church Virugambakkam, Youth fellowship and Pastorate commute in collaboration with Greater Chennai Corporation organised the awareness campaign on June 17, for segregation of compostable and non compostable waste. They also provided free segregation green and blue bags to residents of Lambert  Nagar and Udhayam colony to create awareness among the people on segregation waste.
Rev. Gunasekeran Koilpillai (Pastorate head) of CSI Christ Church stated that they have previously collaborated with Greater Chennai Corporation for free vaccination camps and they are ready to further collaborate on such social activities for the benefit of the society.
Koilraj (Secretary of CSI Christ Church Virugambakkam) stated that many of the people are still not understanding the importance of garbage segregation and it was a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with Greater Chennai Corporation to create awareness about the same.
And also special thanks to R. Stella Jasmine Rathna (128 Division Councillor), for leading all these campaigns.
