Rotary Club of Chennai Capital organised Rotary Capital Awards 2023 recently.  Rotary Chennai Capital is a young vibrant Club with all Rotarians from Round Table India, another vibrant NGO. Rotary Club of Chennai capital has 5 Rotaract Clubs, youth wing of Rotary in Colleges and 2 Interact clubs (in Schools) with a focus of inculcating the habit of service and charity at a young age along with development of personal and leadership skills.
Rotary Club of Chennai Capital is now among the top 10 Clubs of Rotary District 3232 and progressing every day.
Rotary Capital Awards, is an initiative of Rotary Club of Chennai Capital. Started in 2019, The Rotary Vocational Service Excellence Award is designed to recognise an individual who surpasses expectations for exemplary professional excellence.
These are individuals who demonstrate one or more of the following attributes, goes above and beyond to serve others with a positive and willing spirit and involve in development of talent, organisation and service in people at large and go an extra mile to fulfil upliftment of society and continuous involvement in social service.
Lifetime Achievement Awards were given to Dr.A.Sivathanu Pillai, Father of Brahmos, Founder CEO & MD (Retd), Brahmos Aerospace and Dr.Mrs.Elizabeth Verghese, Founder Chancellor, Hindustan Group of Institutions. Professional Excellence Award given to Prof.Dr.CMK Reddy, Vascular Surgeon, Apollo Hospitals. Awards in various other categories such as Corporate and Sports were given, of which popular Tamil Youtuber Madan Gowri received Social Media Excellence Award. Rotary International Director Rtn.A.S.Venkatesh, Rotary District Governor Rtn.Dr.N.Nandakumar, Rotary Chennai Capital President Rtn.Dr.Kishore were present in the event.
