The renovation of Lambert Nagar Park into a sponge park is underway through valuable efforts of A.M.V. Prabhakar Raja (Virugambakkam MLA) along with R. Stella Jasmine Rathna (128 Division Councilor) as guided by Chief Minister.
This becomes the first renovation of a park into a sponge park. 
The President of Lambert Nagar Residents Welfare Association said, Thanks to our MLA and Councillor for their continuous efforts in trying to develop our area.
