The Throwball girls team of Velammal Main School, Mogappair campus bagged the winner trophy for the second consecutive year at the Second State Level U-14 Republic Day Games held at  Kongunadu Engineering College,Trichy recently.
This state level event was organised by Kongunadu Engineering College wherein, 38 teams from different districts across the state participated. 
The girls team emerged victorious with a score of 15-0, 15-5 in the finals and received certificates and gold medals.
