S. Mahalakshmi (Final year, B.A. English Literature, Queen Mary’s College) residing at Mugalivakkam, performed dance on Republic Day (Jan. 26) in cultural programme which is taken place infront of M.K. Stalin( Chief Minister of Tamilnadu), R.N Ravi(Governor of Tamilnadu) and other higher officials.
She shares her experience on performing in this event.  Our college got the first prize in college level and this time the prize method was changed that is only one prize will be given after the concluding the results of three college dance performance. So I felt so proud and happy of securing this first prize.
And after the results declared from our college five students with our two coordinators and principal went for Raj Bhavan to receive it and we also had some evening snack party over there. First and foremostly I thank our Principal for giving us this wonderful opportunity and always encouraging and motivating us.
But it is not possible without our choreographer K.S. Malini, She is very kind hearted and bold woman, who work hard to make us dance with a perfect coordination and the style of her dance is a unique style which was difficult for others. And I also thank our Staff coordinators Uma and Karpagam for supporting us always and taking care of each and everything.
