Maya Care Foundation is providing free of cost services to all the needy elders for meeting their emotional and intellectual needs since last 13 years. So they can lead a happy and self-sufficient life.
These include taking seniors to the hospital, helping with bank work, helping with government work, fetching medicines from the shop, walking with them in the garden, helping them make video calls, reading and writing to them, playing fun games with them, spending leisure time with them,chatting with them and organising various programs for them.  Many such facilities are assisted by loyal volunteers free of charge.
For this, the travel expenses of the volunteers of the organisation are given. So they can continue their social work well. Presently this organisation works in 59 cities of India and 5 cities of UK.  Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, Solapur, Nashik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar, Nandurbar, Amravati, Jalgaon, Parbhani, Chandrapur, Yavatmal, Akola, Buldhana, Wardha, Dhule, Beed, Jalna, Pune, Tamil Nadu and Mumbai in Maharashtra.
More than 120 disabled people (of point groups) are doing the work of the organisation sitting in their homes. Because of this they are getting employment, and they are also becoming self-sufficient.  So far 1600 senior citizens have been visited more than 14000 times through this institution.
Its objective is to enable the elderly to lead an independent, happy and comfortable life in their homes and old age homes, and to enable persons with disabilities to become self-employed professionals by working from their homes.
