In connection with the International Human Rights Day on Dec. 10, Social Justice, Peace and Legal Experts Organization (SJPLEO), organised an award function on Dec. 10, for honouring  the achievers in various fields. 
The State General Secretary of Tamilnadu Udavikkaram Association for the welfare of Differently abled (TNUAWDA) Dr. K. Gopinath (Residing at K.K. Nagar) has been honoured with Lifetime Achievement National Award-2022 for the  exemplary services rendered  by him to the cause of the differently abled  persons for more than 3 decades. The award was presented to him by the former Justice of Chennai High Court S.K. Krishnan. 
All India President Dr. A. Joseph and Tamilnadu State Assistant Secretary P. Subramani of  SPJLEO,  Social Activist Pitchumani and other office bearers  participated  and distributed clothes, aids to the needy and poor.Dr. K. GOPINATH is a recipient of Best Social Worker State Award received from Govt. Of Tamilnadu during the year 2008, Role Model award received from the Govt. Institute of Rehabilitation medicine during 2019 and Parivu Maamanithar Award -2022 received from Parivu Charitable Trust and many other awards, for the rehabilitation services rendered by him to the differently abled persons all over Tamilnadu.
