Alpha Arts And Science College (Porur) celebrates Kalakrithi 2023, three day Inter Collegiate Tech Fest and Cultural Extravaganza organised in association with CII-Yi, Chennai Chapter from Feb.16 to Feb. 18. The Chief Guest for the Inaugural was Vacasya Lakshmi Narayanan (Artistic Roller Skater in the Indian Team). A host of special invitees from CII-Yi, Chennai Chapter graced the inaugural with their presence. Dr. A. Sivasankar (Principal, AASC), Dr. Vinitha (Sr. Academic Coordinator, AGI) presided over the event. Around 40 events on and off the stage conducted through academic and cultural flavor.
TheValedictory Ceremony Feb. 18, was graced by Sampath Arumugam (Director of the film Mahan Kanakku), and l Dr. A.Sivasankar(Principal, AASC). More than 1200 students from nearly 35 city colleges, including MCC, WCC, Loyola, MOP Vaishnav, DG Vaishnav and Guru Nanak participated in the event. The overall Championship Trophy was won by MOP Vaishnav College and the Runners up Trophy by DRBCCC Hindu College.
