She actively participated in craft competitions, laying the foundation for her craftsmanship. In 2007, she turned her passion into a profession, embarking on a remarkable journey of learning and skill development. Nirmala’s expertise encompasses a wide spectrum of artistic domains. She offers classes in various forms of handmade jewellery, including fashion, terracotta, beads, and silk thread creations. Her painting repertoire spans acrylic, oil, watercolor, and more. She also delves into various crafts like paper, foil and clay work and specializes in the intricate Tanjore Painting on fabric. Moreover, Nirmala’s dedication to nurturing young talents is commendable. She conducts free online classes for children, helping them discover their artistic potential. Her belief is that painting is a medium for expressing emotions and ideas, fostering an environment where creativity can flourish. Students observes Halloween

Students observes Halloween SV High Global School, Arumbakkam, the students observed Halloween on October 31. The students dressed up creatively to display their scary self. A Horror House with a Throne of Horns was made with special effects to immerse everyone in the spirit of Halloween. Tattoos with spooky characters were made on the student’s hands. The students tried to trick, but were given treats as well. Halloween festival is associated with some of the famous traditions like Carving Jack-o’-Lanterns, Wearing Scary Costumes, Trick-or-Treating, Black Cats, Black and Orange, Bobbing for Apples, Bats and its own signature colour scheme, Black and orange.

Vidyarambham ceremony held for students

Vidyarambham ceremony held for students The significant and auspicious Aksharabhyasam ritual was performed for the students of SV High Global School, Arumbakkam on October 24, solemnizing with a special pooja to Goddess Saraswathi and Lord Vinayaka. The children were guided to write their first letter using paddy, to mark the sacred and important step in a child's education. Aksharabhyasam is the ceremonial induction of a child into the world of education and marks an important milestone in every child’s life. An amalgamation of two terms, Akshara (alphabet) and Abhyasam (the study of), the ceremony symbolizes Vidyarambha, by seeking the blessings of the Almighty to assist the children in their academic journey. Aksharabhyasam is scientific as it helps exercise a child's motor skills, trains them to use their hands and fingers in coordination with their vision and mental ability to write effectively. It also unlocks their brain’s capacity to read, write and learn,which is fundamental for growth.
