The National Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest, Ramkumar, Retired Manager, Canara Bank, and a devoted Gandhian, in the presence of staff and students. The ceremony began, by the flag hoisting.<br>The ITI trainees presented an impressive parade, reflecting discipline and national pride. A speech on patriotism was delivered by Radhika &amp; Kanishka, representing the Beautician trainees, followed by a melodious group song by the Beautician trainees. \u00a0Jayalakshmi, representing the Tailoring trainees, also addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech.<br>School students presented an interreligious prayer, dressed as representatives of the Hindu, Muslim, and Christian faiths, conveying the message of unity in diversity. In his Independence Day address, Ramkumar explained the difference between Independence Day and Republic Day, quoting the patriotic poet Subramania Bharathiyar. He also narrated the inspiring story of Arya, who courageously hoisted a self-designed Indian flag at Fort St. George despite great difficulties. He further highlighted the honour bestowed on Major Mukundan through the naming of a road after him.<br>The celebration concluded with active participation from all staff and students.
