Ascension 2026 served as a flagship platform that brought together students, academicians, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and institutional mentors. The programme was designed to encourage students to explore their potential, strengthen their professional skills, and gain practical exposure through a series of innovative and engaging competions.<br>The programme was conducted by Dr. K. Rao Prashanth Jyoty Head I\/C, Department of Business Administration under the guidance of Dr. S. Santhosh Baboo, Principal, with the encouragement of the Secretary, Ashok Kumar Mundhra. The event was coordinated by the faculty coordinators K. S. Felix Aaron, Dr. S. P. Deepeka, Ms. M. Kavitha, Ms. R. Aswini, and Dr. H. Divyaa.<br>The event was honoured by the presence of Harthik, CEO of Navkar Chemicals, Chennai, and Sudarshan Bohra, CEO of Supreme Petrochemicals, Chennai. They are also the alumni of the department and they addressed the students and shared valuable insights on effective communication, analytical thinking, leadership, entrepreneurship, and the importance of building meaningful professional networks. Their interaction encouraged students to develop a future-oriented mindset and prepare themselves for the evolving business environment.<br>Ascension 2026 featured a series of engaging and competitive events that highlighted students\u2019 creativity, innovation, business acumen, communication abilities, analytical thinking, and leadership potential. The competitions included CFO Challenge, Consumers\u2019 Voice, Idea Force, Ink &amp; Impact, Creator\u2019s Corner, Mime Masters, and Voice &amp; Verdict.<br>The CFO Challenge was judged by Dr. D. Jayaprakash, Assistant Professor and Head I\/C, B.Com Accounting and Finance, DGVC. Consumers\u2019 Voice was evaluated by Jayasurya N., CEO of SK Logistics. The Idea Force competition was judged by Dr. A. Vijayalakshmi, Head of the Department of Data Science, DGVC, while Ink &amp; Impact was evaluated by Srivaishnavi, Administrator, Queen Mary\u2019s EP School.<br>Creator\u2019s Corner and Mime Masters were judged by Siddharth, Managing Director of Seven Hills Granite, Entrepreneur, and Growth Strategist. Voice &amp; Verdict was evaluated by Capt. Dr. P. Arularasan, Assistant Professor of Physics, Former NCC Officer, and Deputy Warden of the DGVC Boys\u2019 Hostel. The distinguished judges brought diverse professional perspectives to the competitions and provided valuable feedback and constructive suggestions to the participants. Their guidance encouraged students to think creatively, communicate confidently, approach challenges strategically, and present their ideas with greater clarity and conviction.
