On the occasion of World Environment Day (June 5), Saveetha Hospitality Institute \u2013 Food and Tourism (SHIFT), Thandalam, organized a series of environmental awareness activities on June 10, at SHIFT School, Saveetha Nagar, Kuthambakkam. The programme was conducted under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Community outreach initiative with the theme \u201cOur Earth, Our Future \u2013 Think Green, Live Clean.\u201d Fifteen students and faculty members actively participated in the event. The activities included a Poster Presentation on Sustainability and Environment, a Food Wastage Awareness Session, and a Quiz Competition on Sustainability and Environment. The programme aimed to promote environmental literacy and sustainable living practices among school students. Participants gained valuable insights into environmental conservation and responsible resource utilization.
