Kalpavriksha Free Tuition Center (West Mambalam) successfully concluded its 40-day morning and evening Summer Camp 2026, drawing wide participation from various city and CBSE schools.
In a unique model of student empowerment, the camp was planned and led by the students themselves, who acted as mentors, organizers, and designers.\u00a0The comprehensive curriculum included core academic sessions, grammar, and reasoning in the mornings, alongside high-tech evening modules covering Canva design, Robotics, and 3D printing.
Beyond the classroom, participants engaged in psychometric career assessments, competitive exam preparation (including CUET), public speaking forums, and external leadership camps like the Vivekananda Youth Forum.
The students also undertook educational and industrial visits to institutions like the US Embassy Robotics Camp, Agni and KCG Engineering Colleges, Freshworks Software Academy, and Brakes India, alongside heritage tours across Chennai. Fostering social responsibility, the students prepared and distributed free buttermilk to the public daily throughout the camp. The summer camp conclusion program held on June 1 in its premises.
The closing ceremony saw young participants confidently presenting event recaps to the audience. Managing Trustee R. Raghunathan, Director Padma Raghunathan, and Manager E. Selva Kumar noted that the center will now resume its regular free evening tuition sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kalpavriksha Free Tuition Center is conducting special classes for school students from 6pm to 8pm from Monday to Saturday and on Sunday there will be special talks by young talents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
