Vaishnav College"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Department of Business Administration (BBA), Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College (Autonomous), Arumbakkam, organized a One Day National HR Conclave titled \u201cPraajnyaa\u201926 \u2013 HR Futurix\u201d on Jan.31 at the SRG Auditorium. The conclave focused on Gen Z workforce dynamics, future-ready HR practices, employee well-being, and leadership approaches suited to the changing expectations of the younger generation, in alignment with sustainable development goals 3 and 8. The programme commenced with an inaugural session under the guidance of Dr. S. Santhosh Baboo, Principal, and Dr. Ashok Kumar Mundhra, Secretary, the chief patron of the event. The conclave was organized by Dr. K. Rao Prashanth Jyoty, Associate Professor &amp; Head i\/c, BBA, with the active support of faculty coordinators Renu Kumari, Dr. S. Shankar, Dr. B. Esther Raani, and Ashwini Ravi, whose coordinated efforts ensured the smooth conduct of the programme.<br>The first technical session, titled \u201cNavigating AI, Agility &amp; Inclusion,\u201d was delivered by S. Karthikeyan, CEO, Career Tree HR Solution, Chennai. He explained how artificial intelligence and agile HR practices are shaping Gen Z\u2013driven workplaces, and highlighted the importance of inclusive organizational cultures in attracting, engaging, and retaining young talent.<br>The second session featured Indira Gandhi, General Manager &#8211; HR, Hi Living Projects, Chennai, who spoke on \u201cEmployees\u2019 Well-Being and Mental Health.\u201d She emphasized the growing importance of mental wellness, work\u2013life balance, and supportive leadership, particularly in meeting the expectations and emotional needs of the Gen Z workforce.<br>Session 3 began with a panel discussion on the topic \u201cThe Role of Leadership in Shaping.<br>Gen Z Culture: Redefining Expectations and Dynamics,\u201d featuring Sankar Narayanan Arumugam, Senior Manager &#8211; HR &amp; IR, Simpson\u2019s Group, Chennai, D. Bharanidharan,DGM &#8211; HR, Renault Group, Chennai, Duraivel Gopal, Co-Founder, Health Care AI, Chennai, Y.S. Anand, Assistant General Manager, Sundaram Finance, Chennai and Sarath Kumar, HR Manager, Jasmine Concrete Exports, Chennai. The panelists discussed Gen Z workplace expectations, leadership styles preferred by young professionals, communication patterns, career aspirations, and strategies for effectively managing and engaging Gen Z employees, drawing from their rich industry experience.<br>The conclave also witnessed the participation of students and faculty members from various colleges, which enriched the discussions and encouraged meaningful academic interaction.
