Nagar & Congregation of Disabled Peoples\u00a0 Organization,\u00a0organised for\u00a0 a\u00a0 thanks giving meeting\u00a0 in the name of\u00a0 “Ellap Pughazhum\u00a0 Mudhalvarukke”\u00a0 on March 26 at Chennai District Collectors office. In the\u00a0 meeting, State President\u00a0 of MGHDPEA Sethupathy,\u00a0State President Varadakutti and State General Secretary K. Gopinath of TNUAWDA,\u00a0 Secretary\u00a0 of Congregation of Disabled Peoples Organization Chidambaram\u00a0 and many others participated and expressed their thanks to the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu,\u00a0 for the various welfare measures and schemes implemented\u00a0by him to the upliftment and\u00a0 cause of the differently abled persons\u00a0 living allover TamilNadu, including the recent announcement made by\u00a0 the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu,\u00a0offering 4% reservation\u00a0 to Differently Abled Persons in Local bodies,\u00a0 by means of Nomination.\u00a0
Further in the meeting, a request has been kept by the joint forum to the Chief Minister\u00a0of Tamilnadu M.K.Stalin,\u00a0requesting\u00a0 him to implement the Government Order No. 151, issued by the then former\u00a0 Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Dr. Kalaignar Karunanidhi, assuring regularisation of Differently Abled Government\u00a0 Employees, employed\u00a0 in various Government\u00a0 Departments\/undertakings\u00a0on temporary\/adhoc\/non-regular basis, who have\u00a0worked for 2 years and more, by\u00a0 fixing\u00a0 them in\u00a0 regular\u00a0 time scale of pay, benefitting\u00a0 thousands of differently abled Government\u00a0 Employees\u00a0 and their families.\u00a0
