S. Mahalakshmi (Second  year, B.A. English Literature, Queen Mary’s College) residing at Mugalivakkam got second prize in debate competition which was conducted by Aval Vikatan Magazine on occasion of Mother’s Day held at KAY-EM Royal Mahal, Anna Nagar.  
She received prize from Deepak (Actor).  Her brother S. Saiprasath also(Std. 8, Assisi Matriculation Higher Secondary School) got third prize in the drawing competition.
Bharathi Bhaskar(Public Speaker), Mallika Badrinath (Senior Chef and Food Writer), Deepak (Actor), Gopal (Magician) and S. Vimala (Retired Judge, Madras High Court) were the guest of the event.
