Child received Samarthya Prodigy Award

On behalf of Dorai Foundation, an organisation functioning for the rights of the differently abled at Chennai Palavakkam, Childrens day programme was organised at  Dr. MGR Janaki Arts and Science College for Women, Raja Annamalaipuram.
Dr. Latha Rajendran, Principal of Dr. MGR Special school for the hearing impaired, Ramapuram, and T.A.P. Varadakutti,  State President of Tamil Nadu Udavikkaram Association for the welfare of Differently Abled (TNUAWDA) were jointly presented Samarthya Prodigy Award to V.G. Yuvalakshmi, a multi-talended child, a resident of K.K.Nagar, who  has dedicated herself ardently towards the creative arts, with her main focus being music, well versed in singing Carnatic songs, Hindustani Classical music and also a  Bharathanattiyam Dancer.     
Sabitha (Project Director of Thozhi Transgender Organization), Dr. K. Gopinath (State General Secretary of TNUAWDA) and Dr. Sumithra Prasad (Founder  President of Dorai Foundation) were present in the event.
