| SNS Arts Development Consultancy are happy to support and collaborate with Parivadini for the Nava Shakti series featuring 9 Nagaswaram artist couples on the 9 days of Navaratri at 9 am. This series is a conscious effort by Parivadini to celebrate and spotlight female artists in the field of Nagaswaram. This instrument is known predominantly for its male representation and hence, we’ve worked very hard to identify these female artists who will be performing with their male counterparts, a press release said. Parivadini –Parivadini is a YouTube channel, founded by Lalitharam, made waves when it arrived in December 2013 by webcasting over 150 concerts during the music season. Parivadini has been focused on providing a platform to nagaswaram artists by featuring their concerts in its YouTube channel and has been providing assistance to students or Nagaswaram and Thavil under financial stress by donating instruments to them.
